Tyler Street Covington, Louisiana 70433 Telephone: (985) 871-1037 Original Message: September 1, 2005 Our thoughts and prayers go out to everyone who is suffering in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. While we continue to locate employees and their families, we are fortunate to have heard from many, and everyone seems to have escaped the hurricane. The Herman Herman Katz & Cotlar e-mail system is up and running, and we will, by Tuesday, September 6th, be working out of our Herman Mathis Atlanta Offices, located at: 230 Peachtree Street, NW, Suite 2260 Atlanta, Georgia 30303 Telephone: (404) 880-9500 Fax No. (404) 880-9605 E-Mail: sherman@hhkc.com Website: www.hhkc.com Website: www.hermanmathis.com We are informed that Covington, Louisiana, may get power as early as next week, and our Covington Office will be re-opening, as well as a satellite offices in Houston, Texas, where the Vioxx MDL has been relocated, and Shreveport, Louisiana. The Propulsid Claims Office has been relocated to Lafayatte. We hope that our employees will be able to join us in one of these cities. (If you can read this, and have not checked in, please call the Atlanta Office.) In the meantime, our thoughts and prayers remain with everyone in the Gulf South trying to survive these difficult and trying times. We have been overwhelmed by the outpouring of thoughts, prayers, and offers of assistance. Anyone, everyone, please let us know what we can do. Please stay safe. There's a part of a writing that comes to mind, and I'm not sure if I'll get it right, but I'll try. It's from Tennyson's Ulysses: Tho' much is taken, much abides And tho' we are not now that strength Which in old days moved Earth and Heaven That which we are we are One equal temper of heroic hearts Made weak by time and fate, yet strong in will To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield! Thanks and best wishes, - Steve Comments |
