Original comment Voices from the Storm Available from McSweeney's
Voices from the Storm is the second book in McSweeney's Voice of Witness series, which uses oral history to highlight human rights issues through first-hand accounts by victims. Voices from the Storm tells the story of thirteen New Orleans residents whose lives were forever changed by the government’s failed response to Hurricane Katrina. The stories were compiled and edited from interviews gathered throughout the country in the weeks and months following the storm. For more information, visit: www.voiceofwitness.org.
